On March the 11th I will be returning to Africa to work with staff from the Panafrican Teachers Centre (PATC) and Educational International in Lomé, Togo. For two weeks I will be helping them utilize their technology to assist teachers from across Africa.
My visit is part of a continuing project that I have been involved in since the fall of 2002. Initially, staff members from PATC came to St. Albert to discuss how they could use Internet technology to service and support African teachers. During his visit Mr. Zack Bawa and I developed a website for the organization that is housed on a server at St. Albert Catholic High School. The server also houses websites from many of the 50 teachers organizations that are members of the PATC.
