Its Raining In Lome

Today it rained in Lome. It brought a nice change to the hot humid weather. Africa is at the end of a dry season and is starting its rainy season.

The workshops are being held at the University of Benin just outside of the city. Much of the land around the university is still used for harvesting various crops.

Zack Bawa is helping run the workshops. He visited SACHS for a week during the spring of 2003. Still talks about the enthusiastic students I had in the Communications Media program.

Valerie and Rouky are two of the workshop participants. Valerie works for Public Service International and Rouky works for the PanAfrican Teachers' Center.
